Pop Dogg is an award winning afro hip-hop solo artist based in Dublin Ireland who was nominated and won Ireland African Music Awards 2011- Best Male Artiste and Best Song Collaboration. Malawian by nationality, he is also a song writer/producer/C.E.O and President of his own label, Malawian Ninjaz Records.

He is often dubbed "Gunpowder"among his peeps for his explosive lyrics and accentuating punch lines. Pop Dogg is also bilingual making him one of the rarest and gifted artist to rap, sing and write in two completely different languages.On stage, he is very energetic and passionate when delivering his music to his fans and has Performed on various venues such as Crowne Plaza Hotel, Temple Bar Music Centre, Radio City, The Academy, Olympia Theatre in Dublin; Manegeries in Belfast; Blantyre in Malawi; where he launched his first solo Album-Spit Real, Elsburg in South Africa and Lusaka in Zambia.

He has raised the curtains for The Game, 2Face and Ruggedman of Nigeria and has been featured on different websites, newspapers and magazines. Pop Dogg also participated in Lupe Fiasco Rap Superstar Spin103.8fm competition. Over 500 rappers and singers entered the competition and Pop Dogg was among the 3 finalists selected in the competition. His song Get Loose with Raw Soul reached second position with over 20,000 votes.

On Spit Real album, critics marvelled at how domineering and confident he is when it comes to double, triple and quadruple rhyming skills while maintaining a grip on the same story line. The album is still getting major plays on various radio and internet stations and his music videos on TV Malawi and many other TV stations abroad. The album is available in Malawi at a major record distributor O.G. ISSA (Consumer Electronics Services) in Lilongwe, Limbe and Blantyre.

Pop Dogg also released Gunpowder Mixtape in 2011 which consists of 24 tracks including studio and backstage freestyles. The Mixtape features very talented Emcees and singers on Dublin and Malawian Hip-hop scene. The Mixtape was released under his own Record Label Malawian Ninjaz records, which is set to work with talented musicians out there.

Pop Dogg is Currently working his forthcoming album called "Enter The Ninja". He has released 2 songs on various internet and radio stations from the album. Be My Lady ft Kyriah Dee and We On Rise ft Barry One and Cyclone. Pop Dogg has also extended his passion for the mic to raise funds for destitute and orphaned children in Malawi setting strides for other artists to emulate.

He is working hand to hand with different organizations and his recent shows in Dublin raised money for Agape Orphanage Care Centre in Lilongwe and Phalombe's Likulezi HIV/AIDS project. He was recently named Ireland's African Big Deal by Xclusive International Magazine because of his immense talent and creativity which has been making big waves In Ireland.
